Membership Options

There are four Membership options - Basic, Supporting, Local Rides Only, and Contributing.  See the Fee Schedule for information about rates.

Basic and Supporting memberships include Handy Helper and Friendly Faces services but they have different limits on the number of services per year.   Local Rides Only memberships provides free rides in the Groveland/Big Oak Flat area to qualified individuals but does NOT include Handy Helper and Friendly Faces services.  Contributing membership does not include any services or local rides but qualifies as a donation.

Reduced Fee Memberships
Reduced fee memberships are available for Basic memberships for individuals that meet the income threshold set by Tuolumne County HUD.  To determine eligibility and apply for a reduced fee membership you must submit a copy of your latest Federal Tax Return with your application.  See Fee Chart for details.

Membership Eligibility
Individuals must be 55 years or older to join.  An individual younger than 55 may be eligible based on need as determined by the Member Coordinator.  Permanent or temporary disability qualifies as a need.
Local Rides memberships have additional criteria. Contact the Member Coordinator (see below) for more information.
